The other night I woke up at 2:30 in the morning and could not go back to sleep. Awful. I did, however, get my camera out around 4 and began to photograph. This was a good thing for me. I have been wanting to photograph for a good while now, but just haven't been able to. So this is a shot that I took between 5:45 and 6 in my room.

Here We Go...

So I finished installing my thesis show today. It is hard to believe that it has been 3 years already. I am really happy with the way my photos turned out. They are very large (well for me anyways). I will defend my thesis tomorrow afternoon, around 4:15. I am actually quite calm right now. If you would have asked me about having to do a defense when I first got here 3 years ago, I would have been shaking in my boots. I feel good about this work. I am not saying that I won't be nervous tomorrow by any means, but I think I will survive. Thanks to everyone who has helped me and who pushed me to go to grad school. It has been a great experience. Now if I could just find someone to take my history of photo exam...

Well, if you get a chance, please come to our thesis show Friday night from 5-7:30 in the Art Museum. It will be a wonderful one!
